Mark Squeglia

Interim Executive Director

An Erie native, Mark Squeglia has spent the majority of his career working in the areas of information technology and marketing for Hammermill Paper, Erie Insurance and General Electric.

Mark has been a member of the Hagen History Center board of directors since 2018, and he has been involved in governance, advancement, planning, facilities and executive committees. He was also the board vice president. In December, he agreed to step in as the interim executive director while the board looks for a replacement for the retired executive director.

He took a leave of absence from his role as board vice president and will return to the board after a new executive director is named.

Mark has a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Gannon College and has been involved in the Hagen History Center’s speaker series for several years. He is also a frequent lecturer for the Jefferson Education Society of Erie on historical topics, specializing in military history, specifically World War II.  

He is also a board member of Torch International’s Erie chapter and a member of the Perry 200 Commission.
