We invite you to explore and learn more about Erie’s rich history and limitless future with a trip to the Hagen History Center. There is much to see and do on the campus of the Hagen History Center and members have a front row seat.

Become a member of the Hagen History Center and enjoy unlimited access to the museum all year.
In 2021, membership benefits will also include unlimited free admission to the newly restored Wood-Morrison House and the new exhibit building. Members will see 8 new professionally designed exhibits, including an exhibit of national significance. We expect these new exhibits will make HHC a destination point for locals and tourists alike!
You can choose to become a member on your first trip to the Hagen History Center or by contacting Sara Little at 814-454-1813 x 27. You can also become a member with your online donation.
As a Curtze Circle member, you become part of this leadership giving society and a history-in-the-making membership association. You will enjoy private activities reserved just for this group. Enjoy meeting other Curtze Circle members at private tours of local historic buildings, enjoy a behind-the-scene tour on the Hagen History Center campus, and support the Otters or Bay Hawks at a game in the Marquette suite at the Erie Insurance Arena. You can also choose to host your own private event at an Hagen History Center property.
Your gift to Hagen History Center will help with the maintenance and staffing of the four ECHS buildings in Erie and 2 buildings in Girard.
There’s a lot going on at the campus of the Hagen History Center and you can join in the excitement!
The new Education Center is located just to the east of the Watson-Curtze Mansion will feature local exhibits on the first floor, and classrooms for educational opportunities for school children and teachers on the second floor.
In addition, on March 1, 2019 there was a ground-breaking ceremony for the new exhibit building on the Hagen History Center campus. This new 6,000-square-foot facility will be located directly behind the Education Center. The first floor will feature an exhibit of national significance and a transportation exhibit. The second floor will feature a comprehensive exhibit on the history of Erie County.
