Steven Mooradian is an Erie native with a Bachelor’s in History from Mercyhurst University (2021) and a Master’s in Public History from Queen’s University Belfast (2022) in Northern Ireland. His previous experience includes archival work with the Thomas J. & Michele Ridge Collection, development of museum guides for neurodiverse visitors with Northern Ireland Museums Council, and a variety of responsibilities with the Flagship Niagara League. He participated in the Erie Shared Heritage Trail virtual tour and developed his own podcast series on the history of Buffalo Road in east Erie County. He recently managed social media for Armenians of Whitinsville out of Massachusetts.
Steven currently serves on the Harborcreek Historical Society board of directors and is chair of the G. Wesley Johnson Award committee for the National Council Public History (NCPH). He has presented at several public history meetings including the International Federation for Public History world conference in Berlin.
In his free time Steven enjoys Pittsburgh sports, traveling both domestically and internationally, golfing, and visiting national parks and historic sites.
Steven has it written down from as early as first grade he aspired to be a historian, he couldn’t be more thrilled to be living that dream every day.
