Men at the Museum

Thank you to our chair Matt Clark for a very successful Men at the Museum 2024.

Matt did a great job of increasing our attendance to 140 men! He also helped the museum raise over $62,000 from this event. And that’s a record!

Funds from this event will help replace the roof of the solarium at the Watson-Curtze Mansion. The Watson-Curtze Mansion is the keystone of the History Center campus. The solarium on the east side of the building and we believe the present roof is 50-60 years old. It has been repaired many times, but it is now in need of replacement.

We need to maintain the Watson-Curtze Mansion as it is used for tours for school students and adults, to house permanent and temporary exhibits, and for children’s activities during our Community Days (free days).
