In December, guests enjoyed touring the festively decorated Watson-Curtze Mansion and Wood-Morrison House.  Both homes were on the Erie Philharmonic’s Tour of Homes on November 9 and 10 and were open to the public for the HHC’s Victorian Holidays December 5-8.

The homes were professionally decorated by the Northwest PA Allied Florists Association as a donation of their time and skills.  Florists included Chris Ehrman from Allburn’s, Gwyn Johnson from Country Petals, Gary Foster from Foster’s Rose of Sharon, Mary Zurn from A Floral Affair, Laura Eaton from Floral Gallery, Valjeane Chamberlin  from Flowers by Valjeane Chamberlin, Gary Maas from Gary’s Flower Shoppe, Carl Larese from Larese Floral Design and Mel and Janel Potratz from Potratz Floral Shop and Greenhouse.

The mansion was decorated in a traditional red and green theme.  The Wood-Morrison House was decorated in blue and green tones representative of the Naval history of the home.

Victorian Holidays was completely free to the Erie Community thanks to the generosity of major sponsor the Erie Federal Credit Union and other sponsors.  Holiday decorations will be on display until early January.
